Warlock Level 80!

August 25th, 2009

This past weekend, I was able to get several hours of leveling in and finished off my warlock. My lock hit level 80 with 3 days 15 hours /played. Not to bad as it’s been a while since I’ve leveled a warlock and it was much easier then I remember. I did spend about 15-20 hours leveling Tailoring and Enchanting at level 70, so 60-80 was about 3 days played. Which so far seems pretty average for ever class, 60-70 seems to take about 1 day and 70-80 is about 2 days.

Funny thing was my guild is still pretty amazed how fast I can level and would message me as I was playing to check and make sure it was me, not some power leveler. Many of them couldn’t believe it was actually me as this is now the 2nd toon they’ve seen me level. Considering I created my Lock on the 14th and dinged 80 on the 23rd that’s pretty good time I would think. I might finish leveling my Shaman to 80 and setup a new 5 boxing team in preparation for the level 85 expansion. But we’ll see… now it’s time to gear up my lock and get him ready for Uld.

Dirty Industry (Spoofs, Copycats, Lies)

August 25th, 2009

Since I came into this industry back in 2006, I’ve seen all kinds of dirty tricks our competitor’s use. Since majority of them are oversea companies and are not bound by US Federal Laws, they can pretty much do anything they want and do! We’ve been DoS attacked several times, constant click fraud, fake negative feedback, scam and bot posts on forum sites, create copycat sites and spoofed our aim and msn accounts.

Our competitors have chosen to instead of learning from our success and change their bad habits and unethical behavior to try and dirty our name. Please be careful and don’t fall into their trap, we’ve had many customers report in past few months of a few new copycat websites. These sites are very easy to spot as they have our contact information or our name within their site, to try and trick you into thinking they are us.

“Forsaken-Farmers” is only operated under www.forsaken-farmers.com not some other domain and you can always speak with our Live Support staff or me through email/msn/AIM to verify it is us. Also you can have me post on my markeedragon.com account as I’m the only person with access to that account.

A few seconds of verification will go a long way!

Internet Issues – Nearly Completely Resolved

August 20th, 2009

Majority of our power leveling offices have had their latency issues resolved or at least to a playable level. We are now starting to assign work to our offices and should have all queued orders started and back to normal operation within 24 hours.

Thanks everyone for your patients and understanding of the current situation.

Swapping a Death Knight for a Warlock

August 19th, 2009

Since my last post with my fresh Death Knight, I’ve since been raiding with my guild and ran many 10/25 Naxx / Ulduar and the new Trial of the Crusader. My death knights got some great gear and 1/5 of Conqueror Set and I’m on average pulling 4-5k DPS.

But our core Warlock has had to step down due to new hours at work. So I offered to level up a warlock as we have enough death knights as it is. :P

Lucky for me I still have my RAF links on my 5 boxing accounts and had 27 free gift levels saved up! I tried to instance level during normal hours after work but with blizzards’ “No Available Instance…” I had to take a day off of work.  Really blizzard you have to fix this! It’s near impossible to play any of the classic instances anymore and very difficult to run an outlands instance.

With the day off I took, I was able to instance level from 8-34 in about 5 hours and the last 2 levels I started to get the “No Available Instance” issue. But I did finish it and got my toon to 60 and then the fun started! With the changes to mounts in 3.2, I gave some gold to my new lock, got some gear and bought a normal flying mount!

I then headed into outlands with a flying mount! It did help but it hasn’t affect leveling all that much. If you remember with my Death Knight, I was able to level 60-70 in about 24 hours played. Well I was able to level 60-70 with my lock also in about 24 hours /played! This might be faster as I haven’t leveled a lock in sometime but it does help getting to the quests faster as it’s a straight shot vs. running around stuff.

Now at 70 I was able to upgrade to an Epic Flying Mount and I bought the new Bind on Account Cold Weather Flying upgrade! So once I hit Northrend I was able to fly and this has really made leveling so much faster. I’m averaging about 2 hours a level, I’m only level 72 right now but we’ll see just how much faster 70-80 is with an Epic Flyer and Cold Weather at 70.

I’ll keep you posted!

Internet Issues Continued

August 19th, 2009

According to news reports the typhoon caused a multi break on the intercontinental lines between China and the United States. So that side of the world is only running at about 80% or so and this is creating serious latency “Lag” issues.

Some of our offices are not affected by the latency as much as others. Our priority is to complete all existing orders and we will assign new orders to our offices that are lest affect by latency. We are not sure on the repair time for this natural disaster but once repaired, we will post on our blog, so stay tuned!

Thanks

Major internet outage – China Offline

August 18th, 2009

Yesterday there was a confirmed intercontinental cable break due to an earthquake off the coast of Taiwan. This is conjunction with the already on-going issue caused by typhoon Moraket. The cable break has been repaired, as of early this morning but repairs are still on-going for the damage that Moraket caused.

What this means for our customers is our suppliers might have a hard time logging into their accounts or unable too, so please check with us first prior to ordering. Our power leveling offices have been offline for about 36 hours. Once world of warcraft servers, come back online our staff will attempt to log back into accounts and see if the repairs have resolved our connection issues.

Please keep checking back to our blog for up to date information about our company and what’s going on.

WoW 3.2 Released!

August 4th, 2009

World of Warcraft 3.2 is now upon us and a ton of changes has been made. Since I play a Death Knight and I am a DW Dual Wield DK, I’m pretty excited about the changes. There is a new Dual Wield talent added to Frost Tree that when you use your big UF Attacks that your off-hand also attacks with the same attack! This is like a Dancing Sword skill just 50% reduced damage.

There is also another new talent in the Unholy Tree that gives you up to 5%+ damage for 20 seconds after attacking with a Blood Strike. This means you now lead off with Blood Strike to gain that 5% boost, then continue with the rest of your attacks. Interesting changes and we’ll see how much of a change this makes to DPS.

Tonight I’ll be testing out a bunch of different builds and glyphs to see what #’s I’m pulling. Now my toon is pretty fresh and only pulling 3k in 25mans on boss, so we’ll see how much more I can pull out with this new change.
